Your online world is not contained within your home – and now your internet service isn’t either! Wabash is now offering SmartTown, a secure, authenticated Wi-Fi connection that allows customers to access a secure network around the community. Put to rest your worries about security, mobile data usage, connectivity, and roam freely.
Connect to Wi-Fi automatically while you are out and about near any of our hotspots. Secure hotspots help you stay connected when you are around town. The set-up process is quick, and the Wi-Fi connection is safe and secure.
Register to receive an invite to join SmartTown Wi-Fi.
You will receive 2 emails inviting you to join SmartTown. The first email will ask you to create a password to set up your SmartTown account.
The second email will provide you a link and customer only QR code to download a Passpoint profile on your mobile devices. Passpoint is required to securely access SmartTown. Login with your email address and password and follow the step-by-step instructions. Click here for detailed instructions.
Be sure to complete the onboarding process as soon as you receive the emails so that you can automatically connect anywhere SmartTown is available.

No, there will be no additional charges associated with enrolling in SmartTown. This is a value-added service we are providing to benefit our customers and the community.
Wabash is providing a secure community Wi-Fi service, but it is not an open network. SmartTowns network is only available for Wabash Communications customers to securely connect to. To ensure users on Wabash’s network are safe, connecting to it requires an authentication process. This process ensures your data is encrypted and your information is protected when using the Wabash’s SmartTown network.
No, once you install Passpoint®, you will automatically connect to the hotspots that are part of your SmartTown community.
