Wabash Communications is expanding our fiber-optic network and is seeking qualified construction/splicing contractors to assist with upcoming projects. We are currently accepting bids for fiber construction and splicing work in Marion County, Illinois, in areas around Lake Centralia, and in Wayne County, Illinois, south of Illinois Highway 15. Contractors must have experience with fiber-optic placement, directional boring, plowing, and fiber splicing, and all work must meet industry standards and Wabash specifications.

Bids must be submitted by February 27, 2026, and Wabash Communications CO-OP will provide all materials, and the project will begin in the second quarter of 2026 and must be completed by November 1st, 2026.
